Print services - Cosplay pistol (toy not real weapon)
* This print service is not for real weapons, nor parts for real weapons or modifications for real weapons. It is a service for making costume accessories.
In an effort to simplify what has become an overly complicated process by some shops, Starbase3d is doing something different for the cosplay community: Standardized prices for commonly wanted costume accessories.
For the most part: A pistol is a pistol. It might look different from one franchise to the next, but Deadpool, Expanse, Battlestar, Trek, Halo, Wick, Raiders... Old timey revolver or modern 45s... they're all about the same size, print time and material cost. Rather than put you through a 10 step process of "well it depends" and a week of negotiating, we're saying up front "As long as its a basically standard item you get a standard price". We'll make a little more on one franchise and a little less on the next. It all comes out in the wash for us, and makes life easier on our customers - and we're in to that.
You supply the files you want, we print in your choice of PETG or resin. The photos shown are representative of the print you will receive. Your costume accessory will arrive as a high-resolution print. We mix our own recipe of quality resin with additives to make them robust and not brittle. Or you can choose a PETG filament print.
We offer high-quality print services for the Bring-Your-Own-Model community. We will not supply paid models so don't ask us to "do you a solid" or "slide me a copy". We respect 3D designers and artisans and will not by-pass their income streams.
We all know that a Hellboy Samaritan, or a Doom BFG, or some massively oversized anime pistol is not a "standard" sized prop. We're happy to work out a price for your extra large item; just hit the 'Request Custom Order' button to start a conversation.
Maybe you do your own modeling, but don't have a printer. Maybe you don't have a large-format printer. Maybe you don't have a resin printer due to the toxicity of that manufacturing process. Maybe you're just fighting a deadline and need to outsource some printing to be done on time for a convention etc. The reason is yours, the service is ours.
*Starbase3d does not attempt to know every law of every country. If your country doesn't allow replica weapon props and your order gets stopped in customs that's on you and we will not refund your purchase or pay your legal bills or customs duties.
