Full-size cosplay helmet printing service

USD 160.00

Made to order - made to size and fit you. We work with you to scale your helmet for a proper fit.

Manufacturing of your helmet can take different approaches.

  1. Resin printed. As the photos show, a resin printed helmet will be the smoothest approach requiring virtually no sanding. However, due to size constraints of even our printers your helmet would most likely need to be printed in either left/right or front/back halves. Of course this is a generalized statement and changes on a case-by-case basis since helmets from one franchise can vary dramatically from a different franchise.

  2. Filament printed. Since filament printers operate in different size ranges than resin printers our large 500mm³ machines would have little problem printing your helmet as a single-piece print. But this would mean extra post processing for sanding etc.

  3. Hybrid approach. Some cosplayers like to take a mixed-materials approach where the main body of the helmet is done as a single-part PETG print, then all the detail bits/grills/buttons/greeblies are done in resin.

Regardless of your choice of manufacturing we produce your helmet on a flat-rate basis. “That’s crazy, how can you afford that?” everyone asks. We take these on with the idea that one helmet produced one way from one franchise is going to be more material and less time, while the next is more time and less material, and the next is split up between machines reducing overall end-to-end delivery time. In other words we feel the volume of work we do means it all balances out in the wash. And frankly, we’d rather jump straight to getting your product printed than spend 3 hours of labor trying to estimate your specific item down to the last dollar: It doesn’t make sense to spend $50 in labor to save $5 in printing.

Because these are built-to order from your provided files we can not pre-make 20 and have them waiting on the shelves like our standard products. Please allow extra days for production.

Standardized pricing applies to standardized items. Something around the size of a motorcycle helmet. If you want a helmet, and several accessories that go on the helmet, and a vacu-form buck for a visor, and … please open a chat before ordering so we can price accordingly for all the extra items.
