Cosplay calipers

USD 13.00
Its a common question throughout cosplay: How do I measure something like my head so I can scale a helmet/hat/mask to fit?

"Around" is easy, you use a sewing tape measure.
Diameter across a part of your body isn't as straight forward. How do you measure from the tip of your nose to the back of your head? Or from ear to ear? Generally people try to hold up a ruler and guess... Oh that's about xx. Well guessing and "about" is not how you get a good measurement or a proper fit, is it?

So you need a set of calipers, big enough to measure your head, or waist, thickness at the torso etc.

And here's a novel idea that seems to have been skipped past every wanna-be costume YouTuber out there - These calipers are marked for size. Crazy right? Why is it everyone thinks its normal to measure a thing, then take the calipers over to a yard stick to see how far apart the tips are? Personally, I'd rather just look at the tool I'm using.

Best of all - they cost less than your first sizing mistake. I mean, how many helmets does your cat need?

And of course they work just as well for non-cosplay things... Will that fishbowl fit in that space? Is that trophy too tall for that shelf? Is that race-car cake too big for the refrigerator?

*These are not small desk calipers. Measurable span is just over 700mm (28 inches)
